Don’t ever tell me a kid can’t work wonders, Spring. 1969 Sparresvohn AFS. Al. a friend made top bid on a D-8 one of our troops had gone off the mountain in. His kids flew his light plane in, cranked the D-8 and crossed the tundra to McGrath. Gross savings to Dad? KaChing KaChing! That D-8 is still making him money!

not to many oporators make machines look like its a person as fluid and snooth as you run that hoe. i work in the oil fields in NM, and in the 9 years i’ve worked around equipment…your in the top 4 of oporators i’ve seen…as for the comments, i don’t give a damn how old you are. skills is skills. i’ve met guys in thier 40′s and 50′s that still don’t know what ther hell thier doing

@twinflare0 that thing has no problemms goin through mud

  • SDSpike:

Good operator. Real good. But can you run it in both patterns? I can’t. Learned the Cat pattern and when I throw the lever to backhoe pattern (it that’s what its called) the machine goes crazy. heh heh My hands only know the one way and the brain can’t tell them otherwise. At least not for long. :)

  • dreamakerkid:

@EskiLdn yes I was 21 one this was filmed over 2 years ago. I’ve been running equipment my entire life and I’d say been on a excavator since I was 12

  • EskiLdn:

Looking at the comments, you were 21 when you removed the dam and filmed this?, im going to call bullshit, unless you smoke a pipe and have been driving the thing since you were 15.

  • dukenthaylor:

  • twinflare0:

beaver: well sh*t, lets do it again

  • ShredaSpud:

You know what would make an excavator job better? If women were impressed by it…

Unfortunately, the only thing that impresses women is cheese cake and puppies. I know too well.

  • DarkPhoenix222:

You are pretty good with that excavator.

  • Makakbine:

    poor beavers?! :)

  • hammer555551:

Excellent operator, only one problem…… the beavers will be swimming towards the dam to repair it, as he is leaving. They will have it repaired within a few hours. I know, I had the same situation. You have to trap or kill the beavers, or it’s a futile effort, you will be back in a VERY SHORT time. I dug a dam open by hand with a helper, what a ballbuster.

It will be back in a few weeks… I learned that one from personal experience.
